Sovereignty: Remaining True to Yourself in Relationship
Intimacy doesn’t have to mean losing yourself—you can actually continually find yourself within a relationship when you learn to listen to your inner authority, honor your needs, and stay attuned to your own truth. In this session, we explore how to stay real, grounded, and aligned with your well-being while creating a relationship where honesty, listening, and healthy communication support deeper connection.
We’ll look at how to recognize and stop people-pleasing, release the pressure to “keep the peace,” express your needs without guilt, and remain steady even when your partner makes choices different from what you hoped for. This is about building the muscle of sovereignty—learning how to stay true to yourself across every stage of relationship: sacred preparation, dating, courtship, commitment, long-term partnership, and even endings.
In this approx. 90 minute workshop, you'll learn:
- How to listen to your intuition, body signals, and somatic cues—and trust what you hear
- Letting go of people-pleasing, obligation, and transactional relating so you can show up in relationship as the real you
- The Art of the Ask: expressing your needs with clarity, courage, and vulnerability
- Staying anchored in your truth when your partner’s choices, desires, or timing differ from yours
You will also receive an email with a link to a video replay of the session, along with a comprehensive summary of the key takeaways, journal prompts, and a PDF of all workshop slides for you to to download.
